Guest: Ginger Myers Season 4 Episode 23

Were you an indoor kid like me? Or maybe you participated in sports as a kid and even put your kids in sports now. Still, you may not know all the benefits of sports for kids and how to get involved yourself.

On today's brand new episode of the denmother podcast, Ginger Myers joins us to fill in the details.

Ginger Myers is a seasoned recreation professional with 17 years of full-time experience in municipal recreation and a degree in Health and Exercise Science. Starting at age 15 with Clinton City, she has successfully managed diverse programming including youth and adult sports, senior activities, and family recreation.

In her current role with Ogden City, she transformed a local Senior Recreation Center through innovative partnerships, technology integration, and renewed community engagement. As an ambassador for the Utah Recreation Parks Association (URPA) and graduate of its inaugural Leadership Academy, Ginger remains committed to mentoring new professionals while fostering quality recreational experiences through community partnerships and continuous professional development.

A single mother of two, Ginger champions women's participation in sports and coaching. When not serving her community, she finds joy in outdoor activities, hiking, exploring nature, traveling, and enjoys long walks on the golf course, playing a game she loves.
